WE ARE DYNAMIC

Our startup is the brainchild of a diverse group of individuals, hailing from Israel, England, and Hungary, united by our unique blend of complementary and contrasting skills and knowledge. Our dynamism stands as our core strength.

Rooted in a multinational collaboration, our team was initially drawn together by the compelling narrative of David Gur and his fellow resistors' during the Holocaust. We formed bonds through the Western Galilee Holocaust Studies Program: Innovation and Entrepreneurship for Holocaust Memory in 2021-22.

The ongoing engagement with David Gur and the profound tale of his non-violent resistance has fuelled our passion to develop educational materials about the Holocaust. These resources are designed to resonate across a broad spectrum of classroom environments globally.

While our expertise focuses on Hungary's narrative of rescue and resistance, our mission extends beyond, aiming to illuminate all facets of the Holocaust for learners worldwide.

Éva Vadász

Co-Founder, Research and Management

Eva Vadasz is a journalist. Volunteered as the Leader of the Volunteer team of March of the Living, Hungary from 2004 until she made aliya to the State of Israel in 2013. Eva studied in the Pardes Institute of Jewish Studies in 2012-13 in Jerusalem. She possesses a Master of Arts degree in Jewish Culture and History from the Jewish University of Budapest, another MA in English and Slovak filology from the Szeged University of Sciences and finished her media studies at the Association of the Hungarian Journalists in Budapest. Eva lives in Tel Aviv, Israel and works as a technical and content writer in high tech and volunteers as Editor in Chief of Uj Kelet Hungarian newspaper in Israel.

Dr. Jonny Hudson

Co-Founder, Research and Development

Jonny Hudson, now a distinguished Holocaust educator with a PhD in Holocaust Studies, has an extensive background in teaching History and English across five countries. His expertise in Holocaust education is marked by his tenure in England and Japan, where he not only taught the subject but also organized and led impactful survivor talks and educational journeys to Holocaust sites in Germany and Poland. Completing his master's in Holocaust education in 2019 laid the foundation for his doctoral research, which focuses on the complex narratives of Holocaust perpetrators. Dr. Hudson's work contributes significantly to the field, shedding light on the darker facets of human history and promoting a deeper understanding of the Holocaust.

Dr. Edna Pasher

Mentor

Dr. Edna Pasher is the co-founder and chairperson of the Israeli Institute for Smart Cities. She has been a pioneer and leader of the innovation and knowledge management movement in Israel and an active member of the international community of pioneers. Dr. Pasher has over 30 years of experience in regional and international projects using a variety of evaluation methodologies, modelling techniques and quantitative analysis. As the program that led to this project was in cooperation with the Israeli Smart Cities Institute, Dr. Pasher has also been a mentor to us. Her wisdom, guidance and support have been invaluable in propelling this project forward.

Dr. Boaz Cohen

Mentor

Dr. Boaz Cohen is Head of Program and Senior Lecturer at Western Galilee College’s Center for Holocaust Research, which promotes research and dissemination of knowledge on the Holocaust and its aftermath. He is also the author of numerous publications such as Dov Levin – from Partisan to Researcher (2017) and Goals and Challenges of the Research into Holocaust Survivor and DP Children (2017). In 2020 Dr. Cohen started the Innovation and Entrepreneurship for Holocaust Memory course of which we are alumni. His energy, intellectual contributions and generosity have been truly appreciated, and we are honoured to have a working relationship with him.
