The Rescue and Resistance Learning Center
The R&RLC consists of a team of Hungarian, British and Israeli participants who are working with David Gur – a surviving member of the Zionist youth resistance in Hungary – to produce these resources. The team met as part of the Western Galilee Holocaust Studies Program: Innovation and Entrepreneurship for Holocaust Memory in 2021.
Through the creation of world-class resources, we aim to educate about the Holocaust in Hungary, with a particular focus on how youth mobilised to combat tyranny and oppression. Ultimately saying, "Not on our watch!"

This twenty-four photograph resource focuses on the Holocaust resistance. The photographs are categorised into Partisans, Killing Centres, Ghettos, Cultural & Spiritual.
The images are provided in their original form but have also been colourised using state-of-the-art techniques.
